Child Rights promotes the realization and protection of the rights of children as one of the vulnerable groups. In order to efficiently and effectively provide the services including education and training, investigations and litigation, monitoring and research, advocacy and lobbying as well assist in state party reporting to international bodies. The Commission has investigated cases of child rights violations relating to abuse, defilement, and maintenance; monitored all child care institutions in Malawi. Public inquiries on various issue were done including corporal punishment in schools, child initiations. Law reform on child age and trafficking was advocated
