he Access to Information Act became operational on 30 September 2020, a date which the Minister of Information appointed as a commencement date. In January 2021, regulations for the Access to Information Act were gazetted. Copies of the ATIA and Regulations can be accessed on this website or visit the Commission’s office.
The Access to Information Unit under the Commission has planned an awareness campaign through media and community meetings which will be launched very soon.
